Reservations
A reservation is confirmed when we have a credit card and a 50% deposit; if two requests overlap, the first to confirm gets the room. Two-night minimum, three nights on holiday weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellations carry a $25 fee to cover card processing. Cancel within two weeks of arrival and the 50% deposit is forfeited; within two days, the full stay is charged.
Guests 16 and up. Moonriver Inn is a quiet house with original floors and a lot of fragile things. Guests must be 16 or older, and the person booking must be at least 21.
Pets. We love them. The innkeeper’s dog, however, prefers to be the only one, so we aren’t able to welcome pets at this time. Service animals are always welcome.
Check-in and check-out. Check-in is 3:00–7:00 pm; please let us know if you’ll arrive later. Check-out is 11:00 am. Early arrivals and late departures are sometimes possible — just ask.
Occupancy. Rooms are booked for two guests. The Stillwater Suite can accommodate a third on the living-room sofa.
Smoking. No smoking or vaping anywhere inside; the back of the property is fine.
Quiet hours. 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. It’s an old house and sound carries.
Stairs. All three rooms are on the second floor, reached by stairs. There’s no elevator, so please keep that in mind when booking.
Parking. Free on-site parking.
The pieces in your room. Most of the furnishings and art you’ll live with are from our collection and available in the online shop. Please ask before moving larger pieces, and let us know about any damage — we’d rather fix it than find it.
Damages and lost items. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear. Left something behind? We’ll ship it for the cost of postage.
